Tunisia lost to Iran in straight sets (26-24, 25-17, 25-22) in the second phase of round-robin play of the FIVB World Cup on Thursday.

We were into the game in the first set. We started to play point by point. They blocked well and control critical points. We could not use No. 11 (Ismail Moalla) who was injured. We tried but it was not enough to win. Iran is a stronger team," Giaccobe said.

Tunisia captain Hosni Kara also praised Iran national volleyball team.

We do not like to lose. Iran is a strong team and kept its concentration. We played well but not enough to win. We showed some good play in the match. We hope to play better in the next matches," Kara said.
