Esteghlal Forward Goncalves Sidelined for Four Weeks - Sports news

Goncalves suffered a torn muscle in the match against Sanat Naft in Abadan on Saturday.

The 27-year-old forward will miss Esteghlal’s last match against Sepidrood in Iran Professional League (IPL), scheduled for Thursday.

Goncalves will be absent in the next week match against Al Ain of the UAE in the AFC Champions League group stage.

Esteghlal forward Allahyar Sayyadmanesh is also suffering a foot injury and according to the club, he will undergo further tests to discover extent of injury.
