Purnazeri, Bushell-Mingo to duet in Stockholm

TEHRAN – Iranian composer and tar virtuoso Tahmures Purnazeri and Sweden-based English theater actress, director and singer Josette Bushell-Mingo are scheduled to perform a duet at the Fasching Jazz Club in Stockholm, Sweden on Friday.

Entitled “Tanblues”, the concert is a combination of classical blues elements with the traditional musical instrument tanbur and Persian poets, the organizers have announced.

The concert is organized in collaboration with the National Theater of Sweden.
