Iranian artist blends fashion with Persian painting 

TEHRAN – Iranian artist Ensieh Najjarian has used motifs from illumination in Persian painting to embellish women’s attire.

She creates the motifs and designs on clothing, sets of which will be showcased in an exhibition at the 7 Art Gallery in Istanbul from September 13 to 20, the Persian service of Honaronline announced on Sunday.

The exhibition titled “Silence Failure” will also put a number of her paintings on display.
