Zob Ahan’s Habibzadeh sidelined for two months

TEHRAN – Zob Ahan striker Reza Habibzadeh is expected to be sidelined for up to two months after sustaining a broken jaw.

Habibzadeh injured after being kicked in the face by Esteghlal winger Vouria Ghaffouri in front of the goal.

Habibzadeh was immediately rushed to hospital and underwent surgery in hospital.

Zob Ahan coach Omid Namazi has confirmed that Habibzadej is not able to accompany the team at least for two months.

Ghaffouri apologized to Habibzadeh for the incident on his Instagram account.
